Holy Ascension Orthodox Church is an outreach of St. It is located on the Hilo side of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi in the little town. Our community has roots in the Russian Orthodox Church and is made up of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and walks of life. All services are primarily in English, although we also use some Greek, Slavonic and Hawaiian.
